1. Grilled or Roasted Bhutta
Preparation Time : 10 minutes
Cooking Time : 20 minutes
Serves : 5

5 ears of corn with stems
1/2 Teaspoon of salt
1 Teaspoon of chilli powder
1/2 Teaspoon of black pepper powder
1 lemon cut in quarters
1 Teaspoon of butter/ghee optional


Grill the cob on a stove top on a medium flame. Keep turning to cook on all sides. The secret of grilling lies in cooking evenly until lightly charred but not burnt.
Melt the butter/ghee and apply. After it is done mix salt, chilli powder, pepper powder, lemon juice and apply to the cob.
Today the grilled bhutta in its modern avatar has changed a lot. Special dressings are available – from mustard sauce to Chinese Schezwan sauce and cheese but nothing beats the age old bhutta topping of simple salt, chilli powder and tangy lemon.

2. Corn Bhel

Preparation Time : 25minutes
Cooking Time : 15 minutes
Serves : 4

1 large chopped corn kernels
1 cup roasted peanuts
1 large chopped tomato
1 large chopped onion
1/2 inch cubes, 2 medium boiled Potatoes
1 teaspoon chaat masala
3-4 chopped green chillies
2 tablespoons Green chutney
2 tablespoons Sweet tamarind chutney
1 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice
Salt to taste
Chopped fresh coriander leaves
Sev to garnish


Boil corn kernels. Drain and remove excess water. This bhel can be made with hot or cold corn kernels.

In bowl, mix corn kernels, tomato, potatoes, chaat masala, green chillies, green chutney, tamarind chutney, coriander leaves well.

Add lemon juice, salt and mix. Divide into individual servings, sprinkle sev and serve immediately.

To make Honey Rainbow Fruit Salad you need to follow few steps:-


  • 1 lb fresh strawberries, diced
  • 4 kiwis, peeled and diced
  • 1 lb fresh pineapple, diced
  • Honey Lime Dressing
  • 12 oz red grapes, diced into halves
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 Tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 12 oz fresh blueberries
  • 1 (15 oz) can mandarin oranges in juice, well drained with 2 halves
  • 2 ripe bananas, diced*
  • 2 tsp lime zest


You can add any fruit according to your taste.


Add all fruit to a large container or bowl. In a small mixing bowl, whip together with honey, lime zest and lime juice. Pour over fruit just before serving and toss to evenly coat- keep it for few minutes until it socks the juice and toss it before plating/serve.

It adds natural mineral in ingredients which is helpful for our health. And using this consumes our time but make our hands stronger.

Flour Mill Machine
Use this instead of taking readmade packets of flour. अट्टा चकी  helps your arms and doctor too recommend patient whose body is not in movement. Try this you will start observing changes.

Kabuli Chana is best for snack purpose having 11 gm. of protein. It also add a crunch to salad and for taste you can add flavor according to you like pinch of salt, chili powder or whatever your get from your pantry.

    • 2 cans garbanzo beans

Preparation Steps

1. Drain chickpea in strainer and rinse it with cool water. Shake it to remove the remaining water.
2. Cover it in casserole dish and pour chickpea on foil paper and spread them into one-single layer.
3. Take a piece of cloth or paper and rinse the beans.
4. Sprinkle cooking spray and seasoning on the top of beans. Shake the pan to mix the beans with spay.
5. Place pan in an oven for 15-20 minutes and set it to 350 F-.
6. Cook until the beans are browned or crispy.
7. Remove it from oven and pour into the bowl.
8. Your snacks are ready. Keep it store in bowl or in Ziploc bag.

One of the key things that people find frightening cooking food is use of spices in massive amount.

Here I have showcase 10 spices that are mainly used in cooking.

Some spices can be blended and few are dry roasted to release their oil before being mixed into spice. I would recommend using blender or grinder to ground the mixes purely. Take use of this especially when cassia bark needs to be blend as it is very hard.

Two types of cardamom are used Green and Black. The more common variety is green because it is used from spice to desserts. The taste is light and sweet. When you are making garam masala you can blend it as whole.

Cassia Bark

zeemlo_blog_thrYes, it’s an interesting spice also called “Chinese Cinnamon”. Cassia is cheaper to crop and majority of cinnamon is made from cassia bark. Flavor is milder and can use in larger quantity. To check its freshness rub it on your hand if it smells cinnamon fragrance then bark is fresh and real.

Clove is common spice that is used in many of dishes. It comes from essential oils and is medicinal or strong flavor. It can be used whole or blended into mixture of spices. No need of any caution while cooking food with clove mixture and it overpowers more mild spices.

Nutmeg and Mace

Mustard Seeds

zeemlo_blog_nineIt can black, yellow or brown. When mustard is cooked into oil its flavor is released. You can use them in curries and mainly it used by North Indians.


Fenugreek is yellowish in color and is tiny wheat kernels and used as spice. It should be used with cautions as they are strongly fragrances. You can use them in any dishes and basically used in medicines.
